內容綱要：
二十世紀中期之後，主體性概念飽受批評，在先驗主體性最終的奠基展現於胡賽爾現象學後，海德格則掀起主體性批判的先聲。而結構主義之後，對主體性的貶低也在人文科學中尤為明顯，不管是馬克思的歷史實踐主體或弗洛依德的無意識主體都經過扭轉、再詮釋。受結構分析影響的傅科則是透過知識考古學的方式檢驗主體概念的發明，其次，解構主義的討論也質疑著主體性概念，影響至今，當笛卡爾以來的傳統主體性概念不斷受到挑戰，乃至有取消之議時，護衛主體性的思想也相應地反駁。就此一有多重爭論的概念場域而言，甚值得作為當代哲學議題的引介，並在具體爭論上，探究哲學思想與實踐的密切關係。
本課程的目的，主要在引導同學熟悉一項當代的哲學議題，所使用的文獻除部分哲學原典外，主要以兩個九十年代的論文集─《誰在主體之後出現？》（Who comes
after the subject?）、《解構的諸種主體性》（Deconstructive
Subjectivities）─為主要線索。兩份文獻主要呈現論辯的面貌，並且，也顯現出主體性概念批判有著多樣性的可能。
上課同學必須依照指派的文章閱讀，做出報告。其他同學則進行批評、參與討論。
